My Official Disney College Program 2014 Bucket List


This is my Disney College Program spring advantage 2014 bucket List. There a total of around 210+ items on this list, I hope to complete at least 125 of the items on my DCP bucket list. I will try to link each one to a post when it's finished. :)

General Stuff

  1. Be the first person on your favorite ride for the day
  2. Be the last one out of the park
  3. Disneybound with friends
  4. Do every ride in every park at least once
  5. Do the Backstage Magic tour
  6. Find hidden Mickeys and take pictures of them
  7. Go to all four parks in one day!
  8. Go to Rope Drop at each park at least once
  9. Go to a park by yourself!
  10. Have a day where you go to the parks and don’t go on ANY rides
  11. Pick a comfy spot in the park and people-watch
  12. Play in the parks in the rain
  13. See all the live entertainment (JAMMitors, Dapper Dans, Citizens of Main Street, DHS streetmosphere, Royal Majesty Makers, Voices of Liberty, Main Street Philharmonic, etc etc etc)
  14. See every show and parade
  15. See if you can get your family or friends from home to visit you!
  16. Stay at a park from open to close
  17. Take a nap on a ride
  18. Take a photo in front of each park’s ~landmark~
  19. Watch a custodian paint a water picture

Magic Kingdom

  1. Buy a balloon on Main Street and take cheesy pics
  2. Curtsy to the princess at the fountain
  3. Dance with your favs in Move it! Shake it! Celebrate it!
  4. Find PUSH the talking trash can
  5. Frontierland Hoedown!!
  6. Get pixie dusted from Castle Couture
  7. Get the perfect spot RIGHT in front of the castle to watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes
  8. Go to the park super early and get a picture on empty Main Street
  9. Make a wish in the wishing well
  10. Ride all 3 mountains (Space, Splash, Big Thunder) in one day
  11. Ride Dumbo, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, or TTA during Wishes
  12. Ride Space Mountain with the lights on
  13. Stay til park closing and experience the Kiss Goodnight
  14. Take a behind the scenes tour of the park
  15. Take the ferryboat instead of the monorail
  16. Try pulling the sword from the stone in Fantasyland
  17. Watch Wishes from every different land in the park

EPCOT

  1. Take picture in the phone booth in the London Pavilion
  2. DiveQuest
  3. Do the Behind the Seeds tour
  4. Get a passport from Guest Relations and visit every country at WS to get it stamped
  5. Go on the best ride in the park aka Spaceship Earth
  6. Pick a pearl in Japan
  7. Ride both green and orange sides of Mission Space
  8. Sit in the very front row of Soarin’
  9. Take a picture inside of Bruce’s mouth at The Seas with Nemo and Friends
  10. Take the Around the World Segway tour
  11. Try the new flavors at Club Cool
  12. Do everything in Innovations East and West

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

  1. Do the animation class
  2. Experience Character Palooza!!
  3. Get the highest score you can on Toy Story Midway Mania
  4. Go on Tower of Terror during the day, night, and while it’s raining
  5. Make your own lightsaber at Tattooine Traders
  6. See both Fantasmic showings in the same night
  7. Sit in the very front row at Fantasmic
  8. Volunteer to be that person on the Backlot Tour
  9. Walk through One Man’s Dream

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  1. Check out the Backstage Safari or Wild by Design tour
  2. Dance in the Harambe Village street party in Africa!!
  3. Do the Wild Africa Trek
  4. Find that vine chick between Africa and Asia
  5. Get picked to be part of the show at Festival of the Lion King
  6. Go on Kali River Rapids til you are completely soaked
  7. Go to the petting zoo at Rafiki’s Planet Watch
  8. Ride the first Kilimanjaro Safari of the day
  9. Ride Expedition Everest a bunch of times in a row
  10. Play in Dinoland

Downtown Disney

  1. Design your own shirts at Design-a-Tee
  2. Get ice cream at Ghirardelli
  3. Get lost in World of Disney
  4. Go bowling at Splitsville
  5. Go to DisneyQuest!
  6. La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil
  7. Ride the Characters in Flight balloon
  8. See a movie at the dine-in theatre
  9. Stroll around DTD at night
  10. Visit Basin and wash your hands with the delicious smelling scrubs
  11. Rent a platoon boat

Resorts

  1. Archery at Fort Wilderness
  2. Campfire & singalong with Chip and Dale at Fort Wilderness
  3. Campfire at Animal Kingdom Lodge
  4. Explore the Boardwalk at night
  5. Get a bunch of friends together and stay at a fancy resort just for one night.
  6. Get leis from the Polynesian
  7. Go parasailing or jet-skiing in Bay Lake
  8. Go to movie night at one of the resorts
  9. Have a spa day at Saratoga Springs or Grand Floridian
  10. Have tea at the Grand Floridian
  11. Jellyrolls dueling piano bar on the Boardwalk! (21+)
  12. Rent a boat and go around Seven Seas Lagoon or the Epcot resort area
  13. Relax in a hammock at the Poly
  14. Ride the resort monorail around all day just for kicks and giggles
  15. Take a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans Riverside
  16. Visit every resort and take pictures
  17. Visit the Wedding Pavilion
  18. Watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the Poly
  19. Watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly (with a Dole Whip), Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian, and California Grille at the Contemporary

  1. Check out ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
  2. Learn to surf at Typhoon Lagoon

  6. Take a picture with every Disney princess

Special Events

  1. Celebrate your birthday! or half birthday! or unbirthday!
  2. Flower & Garden Festival (March-May at EPCOT)
  3. Go to Limited Time Magic events even though they are usually lame
  4. Spot a celebrity
  5. Star Wars Weekends (DHS)
  6. Watch the MK 4th of July fireworks
  7. Witness a proposal!

Friendships

  1. Befriend someone in every housing complex
  2. Find someone with a gamecube/wii/other thing and spend a night playing
  3. Get friendship bracelets with your pals or roommates from Frontierland or Harambe Village!
  4. Have a Disney movie marathon
  5. Host a movie/game night with your friends and roommates!
  6. Make friends with your neighbors!
  7. Meet people from other states and countries
  8. Visit your friends at work!!!!!

Cast Member/CP Things

  1. Attend CP Graduation
  2. Attend CP Formal
  3. Get a GSF Card
  4. Give GSFs to other CMs!
  5. Get a DCP goodies (bags,t-shirt, etc.)
  6. Go to Grocery Bingo
  7. Go to housing events! (Cool Beans Cafe, Pool Party, Asian Market, Games, Bus Trip)
  8. Make a magical moment for a guest!
  9. Pick up a PAC shift!
  10. Pick up shifts in all the parks
  11. Shop at Company D
  12. Shop at Property Control and Cast Connection
  13. Use your CM Discount to get TONS OF STUFF
  14. Visit Mickey’s Retreat

Outside the Parks

  1. Busch Gardens
  2. Check out City Walk at night
  3. Discovery Cove
  4. Explore the Orlando club scene
  5. GATORLAND
  6. HARRY POTTER WORLD
  7. Go to the beach! (Miami, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach)
  8. Go to Steak & Shake or IHOP after work
  9. Islands of Adventure
  10. Kennedy Space Center
  11. Legoland
  12. Party at House of Blues
  13. Sea World
  14. Shop at the outlet malls
  15. Shop at the mall. Florida mall or Mall of Millenia
  16. Visit home during the program

Make Memories

  1. Cry during Wishes (and feel no shame about it)
  2. Have a photoshoot in the parks <3
  3. Keep a blog or journal about your experiences
  4. Order personalized maps with all your favs highlighted
  5. Run around the parks blowing bubbles, singing Disney songs, and being silly
  6. Send a postcard to your address back home from inside the park
  7. Take funny planned photos on rides
  8. Take literally thousands of pictures
  9. Write down all your favorite memories and put them in a jar during your program to read at the end
